I'm going to GameStop tomorrow to trade in a game that I don't see myself playing much anymore and it still has decent value compared to what I paid for it. After a quick search of my stuff, I thought maybe I'll try to trade in my original PS4 controller that I got with my system back in early 2017. A workaround is to use a portion of your trade value towards a used PS4 controller. Unfortunately, due to a general lack of third-party controllers for the PS4, that means you’d have to get a pre-owned DualShock 4 Sony controller, which runs $52.99. So basically, after purchasing the controller, you’d be left with $97 in credit, or $67 in cash. I sold my old ps4 controller to gamestop, and you should too! Current DualShock 4 models include a 1000mAh battery, compared to the original edition’s 800mAh battery. You sound ridiculous. Right now, Gamestop is offerring to give store credit for the old controllers for about $41.25 and this special ends this Sunday. I was going to trade my PS4 Pro because the trade value today was going to be $300 store credit. I brought in a plastic bag the PS4, hdmi, controller cable, power cable, and the controller. I also brought the PS4 Pro box with the manual and the headphones. The box is in good condition and I didn't throw anything away. I was under the impression they took any system (mine is a little scratched, from 2 yrs of use) that worked for the $150 it says on website for trade-in.
