High lot size stocks
A lot is a fixed quantity of units and depends on the financial security traded. For stocks, the typical lot size is 100 shares. This is known as a round lot. A round lot can also refer to a number of shares that can evenly be divided by 100, such as 300, 1,200, and 15,500 shares. There will be 15 stocks in one lot. And say stock price is ₹500 then there will be 30 stocks in one lot. Incase of derivative segment : Here lot size depends on contract value. Previously contract value was ₹2,00,000. Nifty lot size was 25 with Nifty at 8000. (25 x 8000 = 2,00,000). 100-share lots-- In stock trading, 100 shares is known as a "round lot."
