Was it "Houston Oilers #1"? I hated that song, partly because it was a ripoff of the Dolphins' song. I still have an Oilers LP somewhere. A couple of the songs are "Oiler Cannonball" by Carl Mauck and a takeoff of "Mamas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys." We have this song thanks to the Nielson show and TSN. Lyrics may not be appropriate, but for an intro it would work. I’d even see if kid rock would keep the music and write alternate Oilers lyrics. Personally, I'd prefer it if they had a list of a few dozen different songs to choose from. There could be a pool of Game winning OT goal songs, a pool of songs for game tying goals, a pool of songs for scored but still down by some goals, and also a pool of songs for when we're up by 2, 3, 4 or more.
